clear blue skies October 29, 2009

Today I was lying on the grass with a friend and we were commenting on how nice it is to finally have clear blue skies and to feel the warmth of the sun on our skin. And then, it became too hot. The sun over here is so bright, and you can just feel it burning. But I think I am slightly darker. I think. Hmm.

 

Tomorrow’s my birthday party, and I’m quite excited for it! Pray that its a nice warm day, with clear blue skies again. Pray that everything will run smoothly and the food will be good, no flies please! Also, pray that there be enough food and most of all, that everyone has fun. Although my birthday isn’t for another week, its SWOT VAC next week and we’ve all got studying to do.

 

Oh yes, I have currently finished the last class of the second year of my ugrad science degree. I am actually quite intimidated cos next year, it’ll be my third year and there are those my age who just started their degree not too long ago. Scary much! But everything’s going alright I guess. haha!

 

Singapore, soon. Party first, and then FULL STEAM AHEADDDD. Seriously.

Our God October 25, 2009

I have done it. I think my mom will flip when she sees my hair, but, I love it. It takes 2mins to dry! Why have the boys been keeping this secret from us for so long? Short hair, is awesome. Although slightly cold at time, and the fact that i can feel the wind on my neck and ears, other than that, I love short hair. I might just keep this hairstyle. Hmm. Mom, when you see the photo, please don’t freak out. To refresh your memory:

Other than that life changing decision, I’ve been studying and so haven’t had much time to update. Might update more now cos of exams, or I might get too tired of typing and just decide not to update. Oh well.

CHURCH IS GONNA BE AWESOME! (: Super excited to see the changes (: Mighty Men conference just ended, the very first MM conference and apparently it was amazing. I’m so proud of you guys, and I can’t wait to see how much God has moved!

I guess my obsession with blueblacks came when I was a kid and my parents hit me. Okay, they didn’t, and I don’t know where this love for purple/green/blue skin came from. Don’t ask me how I get them either, cos I don’t know. I hardly ever remember how most of my spots come from. But I love looking at the color of my skin change from my skin color, to a bluish purple, or a green. If you bear the pain and keep rubbing the centre of the spot, it’ll gradually turn into a donut. The purple on the outside, the centre your regular skin color. I got one not too long ago, on my right thigh. It was gorgeous, dark blue and green. No, I don’t get blueblacks on purpose just because I like looking at them. I’m sorry if I start to freak you out. Everyone has their own little quirky thing which everyone else thinks is weird, but it actually isn’t.

I am going to own a mustang in the future. A red mustang with white seats.

I think I did the right thing, I think.

Oh wow, a guy is singing ‘Music of the Night’ from Phantom of the Opera on Australian Idol. Very very very cool. Rove is up next! Yahoooo!

Short hair, long hair, short hair, long hair. I just don’t like my hair now. I would like to watch Phantom of the Opera, the musical. Like the real one. SAY DOUBLE WOOTS TO SHEPHERD’S PIE! :D
